Other dates

 

Preliminary discussion on lectures in Geophysics

Tuesday, 20.10.2015

at 14:00 - 15:30 

in Lecture Hall Otto-Hahn-Hörsaal at Otto-Hahn-Platz 2 (OHP2)

 

- Setting the dates for all courses in geophysics for the winter term 2014/15

- Discussion of potential course overlaps or organizational problems

- Most of the lecturers of the Geophysics department are usually present and can answer questions regarding lecture content.

- This introduction is also relevant for those students studying Geophysics as a minor subject.


 

Course plan

 

The course plan is compiled with the help of the UnivIS-System. The required courses are taken from the study plan of the respective major.

The lectures will be entered into the UnivIs-System in the beginning of october.

It will also be noted in the entry whether a registration for a course is necessary.

Registrations are usually made through the Online Learning Platform OLAT, an access to which is presumed.

 

 

Semester start

 

The lectures officially start on the 20th of October, 2014.

Since there are still some exams taking place during this week and thus no lectures can be conducted, the actual start date for the lectures will be on the 27th of October 2014. Deviations from this date will be announced via the UnivIs-System.
