The electronic structure and reactivity of pyrrhotite ( $\rm Fe_7S_8$) (001) surfaces

The properties of monoclinic $\rm Fe_7S_8$ (001) surfaces have been examined using LEED and STM following sputtering and annealing of the surface at $\approx 300^\circ$ C.
