Publication by the Geological Institute, University of Kiel founded by Karl Gripp; The periodical MEYNIANA was named after the Schleswig-Holstein geologist LUDEWIG MEYN (1820-1878). The scope of the periodical extends over regional studies, dealing with the geology of Schleswig-Holstein and bordering areas (including both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea), to themes of more general interest, especially in marine and applied geology. MEYNIANA is published both for scientists and people interested in science.
