Research of the work group "Geohydromodelling" is focussed on the development and application of numerical models for subsurface flow and reactive transport processes. The general aim is the detailed and accurate numerical simulation of the governing processes as well as the process interactions. Main steps to be taken include software development within an object-oriented framework, implementation of mathematical methods and model application to real world scenarios and sites.
