Petrographic preparation


A fundamental for the petrographic examination of rocks is the preparation of thin sections, thick sections, slides for electron microprobe analysis, polished hand specimen,...
Andreas Fehler is working in the petrographic preparation. His work space is equipped with different stone saws, grinding wheels, and polishing discs (lead and sythetics).

Orders from people not belonging to Kiel university are also welcome. You can get information from Prof. V. Schenk (vs@min.uni-kiel.de).
